Ashish Mishra who is the prime accused in the Lakhimpur violence case got bail today from Allahabad High Court

The Allahabad high court Bench of Lucknow this day granted a bail to Ashish Mishra who is A1 in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case in which 8 people died a few months back; Ashish Mishra is the son of Ajay Mishra who is present deputy home minister of India.

Single judge bench Justice Rajeev Singh is dealing with the granted bail today for Ashish Mishra.

On behalf of Ashish Mishra, Senior Counsel GD Chaturvedi strongly said that his client was not driving the SUV which ran over on 3rd October, last year.

In the other side, counsel for the complainant, Jagjeet Singh mentioned that the driver of Ashish Mishra won’t run the SUV over the farmers without the instructions from Ashish Mishra and also delivered that there’s strong video proof that Ashish Misra rode the SUV on that incident date.

This bail matter was taken in the Allahabad High Court after this plea was earlier denied by the session’s court of Lakhimpur Kheri. In the previous month, after hearing the plea, The Allahabad High Court overturned its order.

Last year, 3rd October, Ashish Mishra was driving his own four wheeler which forced and went on farmers and a journalist immediately killed four farmers and that journalist died in Lakhimpur Kheri violence those farmers who died due to that incident at that time were on huge protest against three controversial farm laws. Few days later he was arrested.

There's strong evidence from the videos that showed cruelty that one big SUV ran over the farmers and crushed them with full speed. 8 civilians were killed in the disaster on the Same day. Immediately after the death of four farmers and a local journalist, clashes went high between two more farmers and two political workers got killed.

Today’s bail order became controversial as its the first phase of election started in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Majority of the voters in this phase are farmers.
