The Top Court extends interim protection to ‘Shivling’ in the internal area mosque of Gyanvapi for coming orders

The Top court today extended its 17th May Interim decision to restrict and save the area where the ‘Shivling’ was asserted to be in the internal area of Gyanvapi mosque Area at the time of digital survey noted by a Civil Court of Varanasi. 

Looking at the matter by the side of Hindus to extend the claimed area order, which is about to expire on 12th November, the Bench headed by CJI DY Chandrachud extended the protection of the ‘Shivling’ until the upcoming orders of the court. In the due time, the side of Muslims didn’t give any objections to the extension of the provisional order.

In the previous order, the Supreme Court of India had ordered the  Varanasi District collector to safeguard the area of ‘Shivling’, while not violating the Islamic rights to offer their daily prayers in the internal area of the mosque. 

With this interim order, the pinnacle court stayed the 16th May decision of the district court of Varanasi’s order which noted for the instant stoppage of the complete area and stopped the allowance of the worshipers after it got made into controversy of ‘Shivling’ had been found in the internal area of mosque.

May 20th the court had delivered that provisional direction was to go for a duration 8 weeks after the District Court order of Varanasi on the Muslim’s side challenging the side of Hindu’s plea cannot be maintainable. 

Immediately next District court of Varanasi noted that the plea from the Hindu’s  was maintainable on 12th September, the one and half month would have expired on 12th November. 

So then the Hindu’s went to the court to look at this matter for immediate listing yesterday next which the plea was listed today.
