Supreme Court is on winter break from today (December 18) and will reopen on January 02, 2024

For the winter break this year, the Supreme Court of India will remain closed from December 18, 2023 (today), to January 01, 2024. After the break, the top court will reopen on January 02, 2024 (Tuesday) and will resume court proceedings on different matters such as Revanth Reddy’s plea in connection with the cash-for-votes case, Umar Khalid’s bail plea, Mahua Moitra’s plea against her expulsion from Lok Sabha and various others. Earlier on December 05, 2023, the Supreme Court discontinued the practice of circulating adjournment slips/letters in advance till 15 December 2023, as they will be on winter break from December 18, 2023.
