Supreme Court to conduct pre-bid meeting for implementation of AI tools for transcription of arguments and court proceedings on June 12, 2023.

The Supreme Court of India invited bids to deploy Artificial Intelligence tools on May 23, 2023, to transcribe oral arguments and court proceedings. Bids were invited in three-cover systems: Financial Bid, Technical Bid, and EMD for the Design, Development, and Implementation of AI tools for transcribing proceedings and arguments. A bid document was presented before the Supreme Court which illustrated that “The AI tool for transcription of arguments and court proceedings shall initially be deployed for the Constitution Bench matters and with the passage of time extendable to all matters, subject to the approval and directions of the concerned Court.” Today, it was informed that the scheduled pre-bid meeting on June 12, 2023, 11:30 A.M. onwards for “Design, Development, and Implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Solution, Tools for Transcribing Arguments and Court Proceedings at Supreme Court of India” will be convened at Multipurpose Hal, Second Floor, ‘C’ Block, Additional Building Complex, Supreme Court of India, Mathura Road, New Delhi. In the published notice, it was mentioned to send the relevant details of representatives interested in attending the pre-bid meeting for entering the high-security zone and issuance of entry pass via email- [email protected]. Moreover, the representatives should visit the Reception Office, Gate No. 1, Additional Building Complex, Supreme Court of India for the issuance of entry pass before the scheduled time. The documents required for the same include valid identity proof, original, and at least one photocopy.
